Right away I loved the vibe of this place, from the small bookshelf that greets when you enter to the beautiful choice of typeface on the door...I could tell this is gonna be my kind of place. Old school vibes man. Then you get in there. There's an old school fighter jet hanging from the ceiling, plus a bunch of old timey and vibey photos on the wall. I went with my friend. He's a potbelly head. He got the Italian on white with everything but onion. I followed suit and did the same, but with onion because I like onion. We both got got Zapps chips voodoo flavor because I had them once in Portland and they were awesome. Today wasn't the same but I'll have them again. Now the sandwiches were great. Awesome bread and meat and cheese and toppings. Heated up too just how I like it. We sat down at a table under a wooden canopy, great craftsmanship and quality materials for sure. Our table said "Enjoy Detroit" in a pseudo Vernon's font which we thought was pretty cool. It was very distressed, old school vibes man. Overall I would give this place 4 out of 5 stars. Great for the family or for just a chill hang with your boys.

It was my first time dining at this Potbelly restaurant. We dropped by for lunch, and the place was packed. Staff was friendly, the tables were clean, and our sandwiches had fresh ingredients. Overall, we had a great experience!

I ordered online and my food was ready quickly. The apple walnut salad was good. The dressing and the sugar coated walnuts were on the side. Nice mixed greens but very large pieces which were hard to eat without cutting it up. The grilled chicken was like the precooked chicken that comes in a bag. It is not the best chicken. Amble items on the salad. Nice seating area but we didn't eat there.

We continuous come back here for the great service and tasty sandwiches & shakes! Ever since moving to Troy, we stumbled upon this sub shop and it's been our favorite by far to get a quick bite to eat for lunch or sometimes even dinner. We frequent the "Wreck" sandwich and flop between the chili, mac and cheese (sometimes combined with the chili too), and the cheddar broccoli soup. The chicken tortilla one was our favorite but it got taken away for some reason and replaced with a chicken pot pie one. Not sure if that's all Potbelly or just this one, but that's been our only huge bummer thus far. The shakes are also really good. Strawberry is my favorite and chocolate is my wife's. The little cookie on the top is also a nice touch. If you're here during lunch hour, order ahead or plan for a little bit of a wait. This location is in a business district hub, so it can get pretty busy but the workers do a great job every day battling the lunch rush. Great location, come hungry, leave happy!

I've been to this Potbelly a few times, the most recent was this week when I needed to order the turducken sandwich + pumpkin pie sandwich for a blog post. Employees are friendly and when they found out I was ordering food for the purpose of a blog post, they asked me questions about my blog, which was nice. My favorite thing to get at Potbelly is the pizza sandwich, minus the meatball and capicola, and an IBC cream soda. This Potbelly also has plenty of parking, although getting into the lot at 5pm or later on a weekday can be a pain, as Crooks Rd. is very busy. Overall I'd recommend this Potbelly and I plan on coming back next week for a pizza sandwich, actually.
